Waiting Period / First Day Coverage:
Your one-time activation fee to Onust means you get first day coverage with no waiting period to save you time and get you back on the road quicker. With CarShield, you can't receive any benefits or service until after the required waiting period of twenty days and 500 miles after your enrollment.
Cancel Anytime:
With Onust, you can cancel anytime. We make it easy by allowing you to cancel through our app or you can call our Onust Member Advocacy Center. You will still have all of your benefits after cancellation until the end of the billing cycle and there are no cancellation fees. With CarShield, your only option to cancel your coverage is to call their customer service center.
Safety Recall Notices:
Onust believes in keeping you as up to date as possible about your vehicle. You'll receive immediate, real-time push notifications if there's been a safety recall on your car. CarShield does not offer this service and is content to let the vehicle manufacturer notify you, which can take up to 60 days.

It seems that many companies these days would rather look out for their own interests instead of their customer's interests. We don't want to ever be like those companies.
